Technology Partner Programme

Certify Your Hardware or Software with Okiff Reflex

Certified compatibility with Okiff Reflex means your hardware or software is listed in the Integration Hub, recommended to a channel network of integrators and MSPs, and referenced in A&E consultant specification documents. The Technology Partner Programme covers cameras, access control hardware, IoT sensors, environmental monitoring systems, audio platforms, POS terminals, and enterprise software that integrates via the Okiff Reflex REST API. Certification is documented, reproducible, and maintained across platform updates.

Why undocumented compatibility costs hardware vendors sales.

When an integrator specifying a security project needs to confirm that a camera model works with a VMS platform, the answer "it should be compatible — it's ONVIF" is not sufficient.

Integrators and A&E consultants need tested, documented, version-specific compatibility data to include in bid submissions, risk assessments, and commissioning test plans. Hardware vendors without documented VMS compatibility lose specification opportunities to vendors who have it.

The Okiff Reflex Technology Partner Programme provides the documented compatibility evidence that moves a hardware product from "probably works" to "certified and listed" in the specification decisions of an integrator or A&E consultant.

What Technology Partner certification provides

Certification covers five hardware and software categories:

 Camera and Video Devices:

Tested compatibility for IP cameras, PTZ cameras, thermal cameras, fisheye cameras, and multi-sensor devices — documented by manufacturer, model, firmware version, codec profile, and ONVIF/RTSP configuration. Certified camera models are listed in the Integration Hub with tested specification details.

 Access Control Hardware:

Integration certification for access control panels, card readers, biometric devices, and intercom systems — documenting the specific OSDP version, Wiegand configuration, or vendor SDK integration path tested. Certified access control hardware is listed with integration instructions in the Integration Hub.

IoT and Environmental Sensors:

Compatibility documentation for motion sensors, temperature sensors, water leak detectors, air quality monitors, and environmental IoT hardware communicating via LoRa, Zigbee, or BLE 5.0. Certified sensors are listed with protocol configuration and data mapping specifications.

Audio Systems:

Compatibility certification for IP audio systems, public address platforms, intercom infrastructure, and two-way audio devices integrating via SIP or TOA protocol. Certified audio hardware is listed with supported audio flow configurations.

Enterprise Software and Platforms:

API integration certification for enterprise platforms — BMS, CMMS, SIEM, PSA — integrating with Okiff Reflex via REST API or Webhook. Certified integrations are listed in the Integration Hub with documented API endpoint mapping and authentication configuration.

Technology partnerships in practice.

IP Camera Manufacturer Seeking VMS Listing

An IP camera manufacturer with a strong position in the healthcare market seeks VMS platform certifications to strengthen their position in hospital security bids. After completing the Okiff Reflex certification process for 8 camera models across their healthcare-optimized product line, all 8 models are listed in the Integration Hub with tested codec profiles and ONVIF configuration data. The manufacturer's sales team references Okiff Reflex as a certified VMS partner in healthcare tender responses.

Access Control Vendor, Biometric Integration

A biometric access control vendor with deployment in financial services integrates their controller hardware with Okiff Reflex via OSDP and a vendor-specific push SDK. The certified integration is listed in the Integration Hub, with documented configuration steps for the OSDP connection and event mapping between the biometric controller and Okiff Reflex Rules & Events. Financial services integrators using both products reference the certified integration in their bids — eliminating the custom integration risk that previously made combining the two products uncertain.

Environmental Monitoring Platform, BLE 5.0 IoT Integration

An environmental monitoring platform vendor certifies their IoT sensor gateway with Okiff Reflex via BLE 5.0. The integration delivers temperature, humidity, and air quality readings as structured data to the Okiff Reflex Rules & Events engine — allowing sensor alerts to be correlated with camera events at the same location. The certified integration enables a new combined solution for pharmaceutical cold-chain monitoring that neither vendor could position independently.

FAQ

What protocols does the Technology Partner Programme cover for hardware certification?

The programme covers: RTSP, ONVIF (all profiles), OSDP, Wiegand, SIP, TOA, OBD, BLE 5.0, Zigbee, LoRa, GigE Vision (IPC), and vendor-specific SDK integration. Software integrations are certified via REST API and Webhook.

How long does the certification process take?

The certification timeline depends on the integration complexity. Camera and sensor certifications typically complete within 4–6 weeks. Complex software integrations via REST API may require 6–10 weeks. Okiff provides a certification project timeline at the outset of each engagement.

Is there a cost associated with Technology Partner certification?

Standard certification is available at no charge to qualifying technology partners. Accelerated certification timelines and joint solution brief development are available at defined programme rates. Contact the Okiff partnerships team for current programme terms.

How is certification maintained when Okiff Reflex releases a new platform version?

Okiff notifies technology partners of changes affecting certified integrations in advance of major platform releases. Re-certification testing for affected integrations is coordinated with the technology partner. The Integration Hub listing is updated to reflect the certified platform version.

Can a technology partner list in the Integration Hub without completing the full certification process?

Integration Hub listing requires completed certification testing. Self-reported compatibility without Okiff-verified testing is not listed. The certification requirement exists to protect the quality of the Integration Hub as a reference for integrators and A&E consultants.
