Hardware-agnostic VMS infrastructure. From any camera to sovereign storage.
Okiff Reflex runs on your hardware — not ours. From the Router Agent that replaces your NVR, to encrypted local storage and optional cloud connectors, the infrastructure layer is built to be invisible: open, sovereign, and resilient by default.
Infrastructure is where sovereignty is won or lost
The deployment platform you choose for your VMS determines more than where footage is stored. It determines whether raw video data crosses a national border, whether your system operates during a WAN outage, and whether a single hardware failure takes an entire site blind.
Okiff Reflex's infrastructure layer is designed to make every one of these decisions in the operator's favour — by default, not by configuration. Hardware-agnostic deployment means no vendor lock-in. On-premise S3-compatible storage means no footage egress. Hybrid cloud connectors mean metadata visibility without sovereignty compromise.
Three components. One sovereign foundation.
Video Appliances & NVRs
Okiff Reflex replaces traditional NVR hardware with a software-defined model. The Router Agent runs on standard x86 or ARM hardware — no proprietary appliance, no camera replacement, no rip-and-replace.
Cloud Connectors
Structured event metadata, alert summaries, and management telemetry flow to the cloud — while raw footage stays on-site. The Cloud Connector enables hybrid oversight without sovereign compromise.
Edge Storage
S3-compatible, AES-256 encrypted, on-premise video storage with configurable retention per camera or zone. HA failover ensures continuous recording with no single point of failure.
