Eyebrow: Defense & Government
Classified-Grade Sovereign VMS
For defense facilities, intelligence agencies, and government infrastructure, digital sovereignty is not a procurement preference — it is a national security requirement. Okiff Reflex operates entirely within your perimeter, with no foreign cloud dependency, no third-party data access, and full offline operational capability. A technical impossibility of data leakage — not a legal promise.

Why foreign cloud VMS is a national security liability
The US CLOUD Act — and equivalent extraterritorial legislation — allows foreign government authorities to compel US-headquartered technology companies to disclose data stored on their infrastructure, regardless of geographic location. For government and defense operators, this is not a legal risk to be managed contractually. It is a structural vulnerability.
→ "Stored locally" is not sovereign. A cloud VMS hosted in a domestic data centre by a US or foreign-headquartered company remains subject to that company's home jurisdiction. Physical proximity to a server does not equal legal sovereignty over the data it contains.
→ Classified environments require air-gap. Sensitive government facilities cannot operate surveillance systems with any outbound cloud dependency. Any system requiring a phone-home call is a disqualifying architecture.
→ Continuity under adversarial conditions. Physical security incidents at government and defense facilities may coincide with deliberate network disruption. A surveillance system that depends on WAN connectivity during the exact scenario it is designed to address has failed at its primary function.
→ Audit trail integrity. Government security operations require complete, tamper-evident documentation of every access event, every camera view, and every alert response — exportable to classified evidence standards.
Okiff Reflex: built for environments where failure is not permitted
Okiff Reflex is deployable in fully air-gapped configurations with zero internet connectivity required. Every AI model, every detection, every access event, and every recorded frame is processed and stored entirely within the physical boundary you control.
The sovereign architecture in practice:

Perimeter intelligence
Smart Zone AI, Cross-Zone Tracking (MTMC), and Face Recognition continuously monitor all access points, corridors, and secure zones without a single cloud API call.

Classified-grade encryption
AES-256 encryption at rest for all stored footage. HTTPS/SSL with Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) for all in-transit communications — future-proofed against emerging decryption threats.

Drone & Satellite Perimeter Coverage
Drone support and satellite imagery integration extend surveillance beyond static camera coverage — delivering wide-area situational awareness across expansive outdoor perimeters, borders, and regions where physical camera deployment is impossible.

Digital Twin integration
(Roadmap 2027): Facilities may be represented as navigable 3D digital twins, enabling commanders and security officers to correlate camera feeds with physical space during incident response.
What Okiff Reflex delivers for Defense & Government environments
Air-gap operation
Full AI detection, recording, and alerting without any internet or WAN dependency.
Fire & smoke detection
AI-powered early-warning fire detection — 30–60 seconds before heat sensors activate.
Violence & intrusion detection
Real-time physical threat detection at perimeter and internal access points.
Cross-zone tracking (MTMC)
Tracks individuals across the entire facility camera network — no identity continuity gaps between zones.
Digital Twin navigation
(Roadmap 2027) Navigable facility model for situational awareness during incidents.
Abandoned object detection
Unattended package and object detection in public-facing government facilities.
Drone integration
Drone feed ingestion and AI analysis for outdoor perimeter coverage.
Face recognition
Authorized personnel verification at every controlled access point.
Satellite Imagery Analysis
Wide-area tactical awareness and geospatial intelligence beyond standard camera range.
Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)
Encryption infrastructure ready for post-quantum threat environments.
Tamper-evident evidence export
Chain-of-custody documentation for every exported footage package — classified-audit-ready.
RBAC — classified compartmentalisation
Role-based access with classified-grade compartmentalisation — operators see only their authorised domains.
Every physical security layer, unified in one sovereign platform
Access control
OSDP / Wiegand / vendor SDK integration — every badge event, denial, and forced-entry alert appears in the unified dashboard.
Perimeter sensors
LoRa / Zigbee / BLE 5.0 integration for motion, vibration, and intrusion sensors across extended outdoor perimeters.
Vehicle intelligence
OBD / BLE / WIFI for vehicle access point management and VIP movement tracking.
Audio monitoring
SIP and TOA protocol support for one-way audio stream monitoring and intercom integration in government buildings.
Drone feeds
Direct ingestion of drone camera streams for real-time aerial perimeter coverage during incidents
Use Cases
Defense Command Facility (Air-Gapped)
A national defense command node requires surveillance with zero internet dependency. Okiff Reflex deploys fully air-gapped on classified-grade hardware. Face Recognition governs access to all secure zones. MTMC tracks all personnel movement across the entire facility. Satellite imagery provides wide-area intelligence beyond camera range. No Okiff system call ever leaves the facility. Evidence Manager exports are generated with AES-256 encryption and PQC-ready chain-of-custody documentation.
Government Ministry Complex (Multi-Building)
A national ministry operates across 6 buildings in a capital city. Okiff Reflex deploys per-building, with each building's footage remaining on its own on-premise node. A national operations centre receives structured alert metadata via an encrypted outbound connector — no raw footage aggregated centrally. Smart Wall in the operations centre displays real-time feeds from any building on demand.
Border Control & Critical Infrastructure
A border agency deploys Okiff Reflex at vehicle crossing points. LPR / ANPR processes every vehicle plate at entry and exit. Cross-zone tracking maintains identity continuity across the entire processing zone. Drone feeds provide aerial situational awareness during high-volume periods. All footage is retained on-premise with configurable retention per camera.
FAQ
Can Okiff Reflex operate in a completely air-gapped environment with no internet?
Yes. Okiff Reflex is fully operational without internet or WAN connectivity. All AI detection, recording, alerting, and evidence management function entirely on local hardware.
Is Okiff Reflex compatible with government security classification frameworks?
Okiff Reflex's architecture — on-premise processing, AES-256 encryption, PQC readiness, RBAC compartmentalization, and tamper-evident audit trails — aligns with government security classification technical requirements. Specific certification discussions are conducted per deployment.
How does Okiff Reflex prevent unauthorized access to classified footage?
RBAC governs every access event. All access events are logged to an immutable audit trail. Evidence exports are cryptographically hashed at generation. SSO via Keycloak centralizes identity management.
Does Okiff Reflex support drone surveillance integration?
Yes. Drone camera streams are ingested directly via RTSP and supported vendor SDKs. AI detection applies to drone feeds — processed locally on the edge server.
Can Okiff Reflex integrate with existing government access control systems?
Yes. The Reflex Router Agent integrates with access control via OSDP, Wiegand, and vendor SDKs. Access events appear in the unified dashboard in real time and are correlated with camera events by the Rules & Events engine.
Sovereignty is not a configuration. It is an architecture.
